To participate in our Trikke tours, you must be age 14 or older accompanied on the tour by a responsible adult (minors ages 14-17 must have their parent or legal guardian sign a liability waiver). You must be in good health and weigh no more than 260 lbs. Tour narration is conducted in English, so all participants must have a fundamental knowledge of English (for your safety). You will be required to sign a liability waiver and wear a helmet (provided, or your own). For safety reasons, pregnant women may not participate in our tours. Guests will receive rider training by our staff and will be required to demonstrate adequate riding skills in order to participate in a tour.
Once purchased, tour tickets are nonrefundable. However, if you provide at least 24 hours notice, we are happy to reschedule you to a different tour date or provide store credit, which can be applied to any tour, space available, up to the dollar amount originally purchased. Tour credit has no expiration and is transferable. If you purchased your ticket through a limited-time special promotion, the expiration date of the voucher’s promotional value will apply.
Weather Policy: If the weather forecast for tour time calls for inclement weather, Carolina Touring Company may cancel the activity and ticket holders will be allowed to reschedule to a new date. For milder conditions, such as light intermittent showers while you’re on tour, we carry rain ponchos for such occasions. Weather is changeable! Please check your phone for messages prior to your activity for any tour status updates. Carolina Touring Company will make the final determination if an activity is cancelled and will contact you at the phone number you provided with the reservation.
Tipping: Our tour guides gladly accept and appreciate gratuities. If you feel your guides provided an excellent experience and you would like to recognize it with a gratuity, please leave it directly with them at the end of your activity. The industry guideline is 10-15% of the regular, undiscounted fare. Cash is preferred, but credit cards can also be used for tips. Our tour guides always strive to provide the best possible experience for you!
